Calhoun Baptist Church News August 4, 2013~

Our worship service was opened by our very own pastor Brother David Van Bebber with welcome and announcements for the month of August.
We enjoyed the Contemporary Praise Song this morning “Majesty”. This song expressed the way our God is revealing himself to us! The sovereignty and power of God s Supreme authority or power that He has over us who are His!
Once again our song leader was Sister Lorrie Rimi our Assistant Worship Leader. Our Praise and Worship time was awesome today as we praise God for the Miraculous Healing so far he has done for our Pastor David. We praise Him for all of the answered prayers for his comfort and well being! We can not praise our Father enough for all he has done! We know that Gods people all over the country have been praying for his healing and complete recovery from his fall of about 5o feet, we are told now! Brother David wants everyone to know that he really appreciates all prayers and concerns from everyone!
A special thank you to the persons from the First Baptist Church in Clinton, MO. whom was responsible for supplying the Ramp for his wheel chair for him to go in and out of his home, while he is getting back to his self ambulatory condition. He will soon be there with all of the Rehabilitation Therapy he is receiving. He is working very hard to return back to his normal self. He is walking with help one step at a time! There really isn’t anything about him that is normal, he is our Miracle that God has performed in our midst’s.
This is news from Brother David, received from him today!
Last Friday I walked 25 feet with my walker. Yesterday, I walked 75 feet. I walked on my whole right foot for the first time and without any pain. I want to as always thank God for this and I want to thank my church Calhoun Baptist for their continued prayers.
Our pastor brought his sermon from several verses this morning but the one that I am choosing to tell you about is the one in the book of Job Ch. 38:12 niv
Job, chapter 38 verse 12- “Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place?
We know that only our God has the power to do this.
Glorify the Father and give Him the praise for all He has done and continues to do for us!
The reading of the Word was from John 15:5 niv “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
Other Scripture verses were: Mark Ch 8:31-33 niv Jesus Predicts His Death
John 10:30 niv 30 I and the Father are one.”
