Calhoun Baptist Church News February, 16, 2014~

The Valentine Banquet at noon today with “Carry-in-Dinner” was a huge success with a lot of folks attending and enjoying all of the good food!  The Youth was on board to be the Servers and helping the Church Host, Brother Charles and Church Hostess, Sister Claudean Brown. They were also assisted by Brother Vernon and Sister Pat Kampe, Brother Jim and Sister Shirley Bilbruck. The youth included Victoria Barrow, Curtas Barrow and Elana Hollinger. Their help was very much appreciated. It takes a lot of work to do this and everyone worked together so well. The other Church Host Brother Hoss Rima and Church Hostess, Sister Lori Rima had to be out of town.

On Saturday February 15th. Calhoun Baptist Church was blessed to be the place of worship where Danny and Tonya Johnson chose to have their beautiful Wedding!  Rev. David Van Bebber was the minister officiating the ceremony.

Our Prayer Concerns are for Brother David~ Anna Myrtle Hansen~ Jay Lilly~ Norman Mantonia~ Twin Baby Girls~ Jaselyn & Brooklyn (new borns) of Erica & Jeff Holtmeyer and  Audrey & Naomi (new borns), they are  Grandchildren of Dana McIntire~   Alahya Breeden~ Kelcee Mead~ Jen Jeffries~ Frances Barrow~ Janice Ivy ~ Bob Hawkins~ Janet Taylor- Harold Ensor

Upcoming Events:

Thursday, March 13th. Assoc. Pastor’s Conference @ Grover Park Baptist Church Warrensburg, MO.

There will be “A Tea” provided by the G. A,’s on March 30^th.  @ 2 PM

We are planning a “Good Friday Celebration” this year on April 18^th.

Sunday School @ 10:00 – A Class for each Age Group
Worship Services @ 11 AM and

 Bible Study and Prayer Meeting @ 6:00 PM
G.A.’s Wednesday’s @ 7 PM
R.A.’s Sundays @ 5 PM (except 2^nd. Sundays)
Youth meets Wednesday at the church @ 7:00- 8:00 PM
