“This Is The Day” was our opening hymn as we joined together for worship on a beautiful Sunday morning. Pastor Mark Abney’s message was titled Armor Up and his scriptural text was Ephesians 6:10 -18. When we confess Jesus as our savior and make Him Lord of our life we are equipped with spiritual armor. To fight spiritual battles we must put on the Armor of God: the belt of truth, the armor of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. When we fight spiritual warfare we must always put on all our armor and we will be victorious.
Our prayers continue for Chad Price, Pat Kampe, Caroline Wilson, Cheyenne Waggoner. healthcare workers, emergency personnel, law enforcement, and our country’s leaders. Include in your prayers all school personnel and students, locally and nationwide. How good it is to be confident in knowing God hears and answers our prayers in His time and in His way.
The bell tower is now completed. We appreciate the way it enhances the appearance of our church building. A mighty big thank you goes out to all who helped in any way to see this project to completion.
