Waiting on Christmas was the title of Pastor Mark Abney’s message Sunday. He chose Luke 2:1-20, 25-35 as his scriptural text. We are always waiting on something, whether it’s school, home, work, etc. During the silent years in the Bible, the people of Israel waited for the manger to be filled. You and I know God sent Jesus to fill that manger. He came as love at Christmas to be our Savior. There is comfort at Christmas for those who know that Jesus came to be our Savior. Have you found Christmas this year?
Pray this week for Julie Riggs, Anthony Hunziker, Victoria Barrow, Caroline Wilson, Martie Henne, Taylor Wilcox, and baby Easton Epperson. Please continue to remember those with Covid and those who are being the healing hands of God. Praise God for hearing and answering our prayers.
